How to Live Better Now? To Live Better means to expand ones mindset (our field of vision of what we comprehend and pay attention to) to include our place in the natural world. We are indeed an integral part of the environment. The green movement of today is focused on consuming, building and living in a way that meets our needs today without negatively impacting future generations ability to meet their needs.  The Now, in Living Better, refers to the fact that action can only take place in the present. You can’t act yesterday and while you can act tomorrow, the action will still take place in the now, in the present moment. So, Now is all that matters. Now is all we have. Living Better is living comfortably and sustainably. There is a better way.

Christian Grieco is passionate about moving society into the green economy.

His interest in preserving and protecting the environment led to working for Environmental Advocates of NY when he was 20 years old. Christian held many positions at EA from Director of Community Outreach to Coordinator of Information Resources. Christian saw the need for EA to take advantage of technology and built the first computer network for the organization.

After some time Christian burned-out and as he says, he “went to sleep”. By this he means that he decided to bury his environmental concerns and changed careers into his new passion for computers. Christian goes above and beyond with his clients and enjoys making a difference in people’s lives. WIthin a few years, he became a Principal of the IT consulting company he worked for.

In 2003, after a power outage that inflicted the entire northeast, Christian “woke up”. His passion about energy and the environment and his dreams of energy independence came alive again. When Christian becomes focused on something, he does whatever it takes to manifest his desire. He tenaciously researched and implemented solar power at his house in Upstate NY. He has since become an expert in energy efficiency and renewable energy. He hasn’t looked back since. Christian continually adds new energy saving features to his house. Christian’s most recent addition is an upgrade to his wife, Debra’s, 2005 Toyota Prius to be a plug-in-hybrid. “My wife’s car is now powered from the sun from our rooftop solar panels”.

Christian loves the process of learning about and implementing ways that are available today to reduce his impact on the planet that he is embarking on a business to help others significantly reduce their overall footprint they are leaving on the planet.
